Cute Story

Cute Story:
Emma watches 'Dancing with the Stars' with me on Monday and Tuesday nights. This season on the show, there is a deaf woman dancing (which is pretty cool). So, of course, had an interrpreter and they were signing back and forth. And out of nowhere, Emma says "Why can't she hear?" I was surprised she even noticed, so I was a little caught off guard. I tried to explain to her about deaf people and how they can't hear, and some people are born that way, etc, etc......I'm actually pretty sure I butchered it, and she had no idea what I was talking about, but that's how it goes I'm sure. And if anyone else doesn't go through that, then I'm sure you're lying.
Anyway, so that was that, conversation over. About 5 mintues later, she starts "signing" to me saying that she can't hear.......and that is how Emma learned about deaf people! I think she got it? :)
